Getting Started with Picture Organizer:

  1. Download Picture Organizer and then install the software

  2. Launch Picture Organizer

  3. Add pictures
    Click on "Add Files"
    Click on "Add Files" to add pictures.

    Choose pictures
    Choose pictures you need to organize, and then click "Open".

    Another easy way to add pictures: click on "Add Folder" and then choose a folder, the software will add pictures in the folder and subfolders.
    Click on "Add Folder"

  4. Choose "By Date Picture Taken"

    You could choose one of the following options either.
    • By Date Picture Taken, if not available, By Date Modified: organize by date picture taken, if there isn't date taken (no EXIF information), organize by date modified.

  5. Set organization options

    You could enable the software to create year, month, and day folders, and rename filename of picture. Tags in folder and file name are described below.
    • %Y: Year
    • %M: Month (1-12)
    • %D: Day (1-31)
    • %H: Hour (0-23)
    • %I: Minute (0-59)
    • %S: Second (0-59)
    • %N: Name of original picture

  6. Set output folder
    Set output folder
    You could set the software output files to same folder of original picture, or another folder.

  7. Organize pictures / pictures / images / JPG
    Organize files
    Click on "Move Files" to create folders and move pictures to target folder (original file will be deleted)
    Click on "Copy Files" to create folders and copy pictures to target folder (original file will be kept)
